Webinar Image- IEC 61131 Structured Text Generation for Industrial Control Systems

Date: 26 May 2010
Time: 2:00 p.m. (U.S. EDT)

In this webinar we introduce Simulink® PLC Coder™, a new product for generating IEC 61131 Structured Text from Simulink and Stateflow models. The generated text can then be deployed to PLC and PAC devices used for controlling industrial machines.

This webinar will step through the complete Model-Based Design approach using modeling, simulation, code generation, and code verification tools.

Integration with IDEs from popular PLC/PAC suppliers will be demonstrated.

This webinar is best suited for engineers familiar with Simulink and are considering Model-Based Design with code generation for PLC/PAC devices.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Presenter: Tom Erkkinen

Presenter Bio: Tom is a Technical Marketing Manager for Embedded Applications. Prior to joining The MathWorks, Tom worked for 15 years in industry using Model-Based Design, including high-integrity software development and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
